Our mission as the Unified Catholic Community of Holy Redeemer and St. James the Less is to seek to continue the work of Jesus Christ on earth by growing together in faith, love, and service.
Holy Redeemer (established 1925) and St. James the Less (established 1955) give unique witness to the bond of unity always present in the Roman Catholic Church. These "Mother and Daughter" parishes have been united (2007) to more effectively proclaim the Gospel and serve the people of the Crescenta Valley through the shared use of resources and a more faithful stewardship of the gifts entrusted to us by God.
