Serj and Alice Harutunian

Deacon Couple

Deacon Sérj Harutunian and his wife Alice are of Armenian descent and immigrants to
the United States from Iran since 1974. They married in 1996 and have lived in La
Crescenta for 24 years. They have a daughter and three beautiful grandchildren. Serj
and Alice enjoy art, music, and dining with friends. Deacon Sérj was ordained in 2015
at the Archdioceses of Los Angeles and served with his wife at Incarnation Church for
six years. He recently retired from an engineering position in the Federal Aviation
Administration and took some time off from diaconate ministry to pursue a master’s
degree in Theology. Deacon Sérj and Alice are pleased to be members of the HRSJ
parish community assisting the priests, staff, and dedicated members to continue
building, strengthening, and supporting the Church and school in our journey towards
God in Christ Jesus, together in faith, hope, and charity.
